Millions who served face critical loss of care. Sign the petition and help us rally for real change.

Cuts proposed by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) place veterans at risk of lost healthcare and canceled benefits1. These heroes count on the Department of Veterans Affairs for critical resources2, including life-saving services and mental health care3. Any threat to these programs harms the men and women who have sacrificed for our country.
Alarming Evidence
Widespread job losses have impacted VA staff4 and pose potential disruptions to crisis lines5. Many veterans are at risk of poverty or homelessness without adequate support2. Officials insist that essential services remain intact6, yet the reality at local facilities suggests confusion and fear1. Delays or cancelled appointments can mean life-or-death consequences for those in need of immediate assistance7.
Our United Stand
Veterans have earned their benefits through honorable service2. They depend on VA programs for medical care, housing aid, and therapy. Efficiency is a worthwhile goal, but it must never erase the progress made in health research and crisis prevention. Safeguards are mandatory to preserve life-saving help for those who protected our freedoms7.
Act Now
We are calling on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure uninterrupted care, fair treatment, and stable housing assistance for every veteran.
Help us show leaders that these proposed cuts are unacceptable. Stand with the families who rely on these vital services. Sign the petition now and insist that no efficiency measure endangers the heroes who defended our country.

The Petition:
To the U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and members of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs,
We, the undersigned citizens, respectfully request immediate and decisive action to safeguard the healthcare, benefits, and overall welfare of the nation’s veterans in light of the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) proposed restructuring of the Veterans Affairs (VA) system. While we recognize that responsible government spending and operational efficiency are vital, such measures must never come at the expense of the brave men and women who have selflessly served our country.
Our Concerns
- Threat to Healthcare – Any disruption to the VA’s existing medical services could delay treatment or limit access to vital care for millions of veterans across the nation.
- Risk of Increased Homelessness – Reductions in funding or staffing for housing and job assistance could force more veterans onto the streets, undermining the very support system they rely on.
- Cuts to Earned Benefits – Veterans have earned their benefits through years of dedicated service, and their families depend on these resources for financial stability and healthcare coverage.
Our Requests
- Uninterrupted Services: Ensure that, throughout any governmental restructuring, no veteran experiences lapses in medical treatment, mental health counseling, or benefits administration.
- Protection of Benefits: Uphold the sacred promise to those who have served by preventing any reductions in pensions, disability compensation, or other core earned benefits.
- Stable Housing Assistance: Preserve and, where needed, expand programs that help homeless or at-risk veterans obtain safe and permanent housing.
- Clear Oversight and Transparency: Implement a transparent process that allows veteran-focused organizations and community leaders to provide input during any agency reorganization or cost-saving measures.
By taking these steps, the U.S. Federal Government will affirm the country’s unwavering commitment to honor those who have put their lives on the line. Safeguarding veteran services while seeking greater efficiency can be achieved through responsible planning and collaboration with the dedicated professionals who support veterans every day.
We believe that these actions will not only protect the wellbeing of the nation’s veterans but also ensure a better future for all Americans. The well-deserved respect and support for our service members must always remain at the forefront of any federal initiative.
Sincerely,
